Tag Cafe is a remote worker friendly cafe with free wifi and lots of places to plug-in/charge your laptop and devices.
They have a range of espresso based drinks priced from ¥500 to ¥650. Lunch sets are available from ¥780 to ¥980. There is also an all-day “deli” option of small dishes like deep fried gnocchi, chicken karaage and sauteed swordfish all available for ¥610.
If following Google Maps, don’t trust the last directions that send you through the middle of a bank. From the East Exit of the station, head South and turn left at the Seven-11 and then take the first right. Tag Cafe is about 50 meters down the narrow lane, to the left on the 2nd floor.
Sadly the cafe is not smoke-free. Although most patrons refrain, it just takes one to stink the place out.
Like much of Shimokitazawa, Tag Cafe is not open in the morning.
