What happens?
Happening in October, this year will see a 30-minute fireworks display on October 19. Despite not being the large event of past years — there will be 1,800 fireworks — there will still be plenty of onlookers packed onto the beachfront of Katase Enoshima.

Courtesy of the earlier sunset, the start of 6 p.m. is more convenient than the summer festivals, making a day trip to Katase Enoshima from Tokyo a reasonable proposition.
