Who says fireworks are only for the summer months?
What happens?
The Fujisawa Enoshima Fireworks Festival takes place in October. This year will see a 30-minute fireworks display.
DThere will be around 1,000 fireworks launched.

The display is short and sweet: fireworks begin at 6 p.m. and are scheduled to end by 6:30 p.m.
Courtesy of the earlier sunset, the start of 6 p.m. is more convenient than the summer festivals, making a day trip to Katase Enoshima from Tokyo a reasonable proposition.
Note that if bad weather hits, the event will simply be called off rather than rescheduled.
