Traditional taiko meets innovative beats at the Kodo Performance: Everlasting.
What to expect
Kodo is a group that specializes in using traditional taiko drums to create modern music. Originally from Sado Island in western Japan, they’ve performed around the country, and have a significant fan following. Kodo Performance: Everlasting is a reprise of their original performance in Asakusa a year ago, and explores the theme of continuity.
Each show is an intense 100 minutes of taiko drum beats as the group guides you through a story. Each event day has one performance, except Saturday, which has a show at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
