Like your kitchen smelling like a roastery? You'll want to mark down the Tokyo Coffee Festival in your calendar. What happens? The Tokyo Coffee Festival is back in Aoyama, bringing together some of the best roasters from across Japan. There’ll be everything from clean, third-wave cups to more full-bodied offerings, plus sweets, crafts, and a few wildcard stalls for good measure, all in the courtyard of the United Nations University. Schedule 2026 The event takes place twice, in early summer and again in winter. The summer edition took place on May 31 and June 1 in 2025. Days 1 and 2 typically feature different coffee shops, so check the official website ahead of time to make sure you don't miss your favorites. Tickets 2026 Entry is free, but you'll need to pay to sample coffees. The advance reservation set included a heat-resistant tasting mug, four tasting coins, and a zine exploring coffee shop connections. Hong Kong edition Traveling to Hong Kong? The Tokyo Coffee Festival also hosts a satellite event in the city. Learn more here.
