See the famous cherry blossom view of Meguro River in winter \u2014 well, sort of. What happens? Meguro River will shine with nearly 400,000 pink-colored LEDs from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. every night. The lights will be powered by cooking oil waste from local homes and businesses. On November 10, there will also be a upcyclicing spot where you can donate your used cooking oil and purchase a candle also made from the stuff. More details here. How to get there The illuminations will not take place at the usual cherry blossom spot in Naka Meguro, but along the river bank between Gotanda and Osaki Station. It's a 6-minute walk from either station.
