Do you like TED Talks? Do you want to listen to an intellectual discussion with a glass of wine or a pint of beer? Then head to Nerd Nite Tokyo for your monthly dose of wisdom — and fun!
A message from Nerd Nite Tokyo:
Every month, we gather some smart speakers and a curious crowd, add a bar, and create something unique, and this month is no exception.
Our first speakers are building an electric flying car! Need we say more? Our second speaker is an accomplished American roots and blues musician. When his mother was suffering from dementia, he reconnected with her through music and art; not only will we be hearing that music, we will get the chance to make some art of our own.
Two unique stories, one night only. Drinks (both alcoholic and non) and light snacks will be available. Eat, drink and be square-y! Kids are also welcome at Nerd Nite.
Speakers:
- Adrian Lee and Cody Clements — Plane Meets Helicopter: The Electrifying Rise of eVTOL Aircraft
- Harald Kümmerle — Rambling Steve Gardner — MIZ SALLY’S YELLOW CAT SONG BOOK: music and dementia drawings
