Following the trend of outdoor cinema festivals (see Shinjuku and Hibiya’s contribution), Shinagawa International Film Festival will show short films at Shinagawa Intercity Central Garden for free.
What happens?
Along with the movies, you can enjoy the many food trucks and illuminations that will be scattered around the festival.
Lineup 2025
This year’s highlights include Tea Time, about a tea farmer’s visit from Sasebo to Shibuya; Circle of Donuts, following a Japanese woman taking over a 24-hour donut shop in San Francisco; and Free Kick, a Spanish comedy about a woman given the chance to change her life with one shot.

This year’s theme is “prayer for the future”.
Food trucks will operate from Nov. 10 to 14 from 5 to 9:30 p.m. On November 15, hours are shorter, running from noon to 9:30 p.m.
