Only a short walk from the north exit of the station, Nishiogi’s Fushimi Inari Shrine is nestled in a cozy alleyway, marked by a vibrant red torii gate. Established by local businesses in the early Showa era, the shrine was created to pray for prosperity in the area.

Despite its modest size, the shrine has served as the guardian deity of Nishiogi’s shopping district for nearly a century, watching over both the local community and businesses. As a gesture of appreciation to the city and local shops, residents and visitors often leave their favorite treats, such as choco pies and chocolates, as offerings.
