The Robot Restaurant does not involve a lovely bowl of soba and tempura served by Pepper in a sophisticated marriage of the old and the new. Nor is it a kid-friendly diner with happy hamburgers and friendly robotic fry-cooks. Oh no. This is something entirely different. This is a few million USD of astonishing awesomeness and noise.
The Robot Restaurant, located in a Kabukicho basement and marked by a giant dinosaur out front, is a flashing electronic circus featuring floods of neon, lasers, drumming, robots, people dressed as robots, possibly dinosaurs, maybe a mechanical bull, and definitely fembots. You have to see it to believe it. See how to get your hands on discounted tickets.
Note: Eat before you go, because the food is not the point at the Robot Restaurant.
