The Robot Restaurant does not involve a lovely bowl of soba and tempura served by Pepper in a sophisticated marriage of the old and the new. Nor is it a kid-friendly diner with happy hamburgers and friendly robotic fry-cooks. Oh no. This is something entirely different. This is a few million USD of astonishing awesomeness and noise.
The Robot Restaurant, located in a Kabukicho basement and marked by a giant dinosaur out front, is a flashing electronic circus featuring floods of neon, lasers, drumming, robots, people dressed as robots, possibly dinosaurs, maybe a mechanical bull, and definitely fembots. You have to see it to believe it. For info on how to get your mitts on tickets, click here. Eat before you go, because the food is not the point at the Robot Restaurant.
