Takanawa Gateway City is a futuristic business park in Tokyo. Described as an “experimental site”, it is intended to be a symbol of the city’s global future.

What is Takanawa Gateway City?

Takanawa Gateway is historically siginificant. During the Meiji period, it served as a literal gateway, marking the location of Japan’s first railway. Today it is a hub for commercial and corporate activities, with an emphasis on striving for postive change, including a zero-carbon society, human-robot co-creation, and advancements in healthcare.
