Located in the basement of a building just 1-minute walk from the main exit of Akasaka-mitsuke Station, Craft Beer Server Land is a popular hang out with the local office worker crowd.

CBSL boasts 31 taps of domestic craft beer at very reasonable prices. US pints are ¥890 and 250 ml glasses are ¥550. There are also plenty of food options including fish and chips, fried chicken, salads, sandwiches, and pizza. Food prices range from ¥700 to about ¥1,480.

Beers on tap at the time of our visit included varieties from Baird, Shiga Kogen, Minoh, Minami Shinshu and Outsider Brewing.

The staff seem knowledgeable, and the service is mostly speedy. Despite the good food and beer, there is something lacking in terms of atmosphere—perhaps due to the common Japanese custom of having the lights turned up too bright.

There is a seating charge of ¥380 per person and all price include consumption tax.

There is another branch of Craft Beer Server Land located in Iidabashi. CBSL is in the same building as Bagus darts and billiards bar.
