Located adjacent to Akasaka-mitsuke Station, this brightly lit restaurant offers a wide variety of kushiage—crumbed skewers of meat, fish and vegetables deep fried in bread crumbs.

While dinner at Yamakyomaru can be quite pricey, there are some excellent value lunch sets for ¥1,050 including a kushiage lunch, a pork fillet cutlet lunch and a chicken karaage lunch.

For dinner, 5 skewers of vegetables costs ¥950, 4 meat skewers are ¥1,300, 5 skewers of cheese are ¥1,500 and 5 fish skewers in a fancy little boat can be had for ¥1,500.
