Haburashi (the Japanese word for tooth brush) is a cosy craft beer bar located in a quiet Dōgenzaka side-alley.
As the name suggests, Haburashi serves (slightly expensive) craft beer and very good french fries. Don’t expect a huge variety of beers on draft — they only have four taps. On a recent visit they were all imperial stouts with an ABV over 10%! Luckily they also have a fridge with a wide variety of cans and bottles.
The story behind the name is that it was started by a dentist who was a big craft beer fan. You can combine a trip to Haburashi with a walk to or from Scissors — another craft beer bar started by a hairdresser.
Note that the place is tiny, so on a Friday night you might not be able to get in the door.
