This year’s Blue Note Jazz Festival will be held at Ariake Arena, featuring jazz, funk, and soul artists like Norah Jones, Ne-Yo, Incognito, and more.
What to expect
Tokyo’s Blue Note Jazz Festival was originally held at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse in 2015 and 2016. After an 8-year hiatus, it moved to its new home at Ariake Arena in 2024, featuring artists like Nas, Parliament Funkadelic, Chicago, and Nile Rodgers.
This year’s event returns to its new home over two days on September 27 and 28.
Lineup
So far, Norah Jones and Don Was & The Pan-Detroit Ensemble have been announced for Saturday, and Ne-Yo and Icongnito have been announced for Sunday. More artists are set to be added in the coming months.
Entry
Tickets range in price from ¥19,000 per day for A Seats to ¥78,000 per day for VIP Seats. At the time of publishing, A Seats for Saturday are already sold out.
How to get there
On the Yurikamome line, Ariake Arena is around an 8-minute walk from both Shin-Toyosu and Ariake-Tennis-no-mori stations. From the Rinkai Line, it’s around a 17-minute walk from both Kokusai-Tenjijō and Shinonome stations. If you’re taking the Tokyo BRT bus, it’s around an 8-minute walk from the Ariake-Tennis-no-mori bus stop.
