Officially ‘Noryo no Yube’ (translates to something like refreshing evening), this event at the Kyū Yasuda Teien Garden features a light up of the gardens as well as haiku performances and traditional koto playing. There will also be yatai (outdoor food vendors) serving Japanese summer festival food.
How to get there
It’s an approximately 7-minute walk from Ryōgoku Station on the banks of the Sumida River. It’s in a garden, so go well prepared with protection from the mosquitoes.
