Come join this special event celebrating the brilliant yellow mimosa flower on Saturday, March 2, and Sunday, March 3 in Kawasaki.
What to expect
International Women’s Day (March 8) is called “Mimosa Day” in Italy and traditionally is when golden mimosa flower bunches are given to women to show support.
La Cittadella, a unique venue with an Italian-style shopping mall, is bringing this tradition to Kawasaki (near Tokyo) at the Mimosa Festa 2024. Bring your friends, family, and loved ones to enjoy a special day filled with yellow!
There will be flowers, of course, but also great music, food, a marche, shops, photo content and more. Plus, visitors will receive a free mini-bouquet when they use one of the participating shops.
