In Japanese, nyan is the sound a cat makes, but this festival (for cat lovers, by cat lovers) will get plenty of humans purring, too. There will be 400 booths filled with cat-inspired products: posters, paintings, mugs, mittens with kittens — you name it.
Tickets
You might be confused why the on-the-door ticket is cheaper (at ¥500) than advanced sales; that is because they don’t start selling them till 1 p.m. on the day. So if you want to get there from 11 a.m, you need an advanced ticket for ¥600. Children under 6 years old enter free.
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.-
