The Tokyo Art Book Fair is Japan’s first and biggest event dedicated to art publishing.
What happens?
The Tokyo Art Book Fair gathers over 300 exhibitors from around the world. Art book hounds, this is the biggest fair of its kind in Asia. There will also be workshops, presentations, film screenings, and live music.
One tip from us: bring cash, just in case.
Schedule 2025
This year’s edition takes place in two segments.
The first goes from December 11 to 14, while the second begins on December 19 and concludes on December 21.
Note that 2 p.m. slot can get very busy. We recommend researching some of your favorite publishers beforehand so you can prioritize the booths accordingly.
Tickets 2025
Tickets go on sale on November 20 at noon. If you can, it’s a good idea to purchase in advance, or you may need to wait up to 30 minutes on the day.
Admission costs ¥1,000 (in advance). On-the-day tickets will be limited in number and only for sale until 4 p.m. These cost ¥1,200 each.
