Winter and Sake Festival

It’s not spring yet — despite what social media is telling you — so why not get in the winter mood with some sake, fresh seafood, and live entertainment at this year’s Winter Festival in Yoyogi Park.

What happens?

Like most events in Yoyogi Park Events Square, this festival is predominantly about eating delicious food. But, the main event is the live tuna carving every day.

If you miss the Toyosu tuna auction, then this is a great alternative. Once cut, the tuna is then served from a food truck for the hungry onlookers.

Suggested Activity
Get Tickets To the Samurai Restaurant in Shinjuku (Up to 30% Off)
Experience one of the craziest, most colorful places in Tokyo — the all-new Samurai Restaurant, from the creators of the Robot Restaurant. Get your tickets and sit back for a wild show of lasers, lights, samurai, dancers and other uniquely Japanese weirdness.

Be warned, there will be a very long line, but there will be other stalls with sake tasting and camping food to try.

Schedule 2026

There will also be a festival dedicated to nabe (hotpot) going on simultaneously.

Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.
