Costco Makuhari is one of the closest Costco branches to central Tokyo. Costco is a members only wholesale shopping warehouse. You can sign-up as a member on arrival.

Although most shoppers travel there by car, you can also go there by train (a 20 minute walk from Kaihin-Makuhari Station) and ask for your shopping to be delivered.

Parking at Costco is free, but the parking lot with a capacity of 877 cars gets very busy on weekends and public holidays. Highway tolls from central Tokyo should cost about ¥1,200 if you have an ETC card. If you’re paying cash at the toll booths, it should cost you slightly more than ¥1,600.
