Kishimojin Temple is a Buddhist temple in Toshima. Enshrined here is the Goddess of safe birth and child rearing, making it a powerspot for families.
On the temple grounds, you’ll find a majestic gingko tree, the second largest in Tokyo. Surrounding it are red torii gates, enhancing the picturesque atmosphere of the site. Additionally, there’s a small shack selling retro sweets, where you can grab a treat for just a few coins.
The shrine is most famous for its grand festival which takes place every October.
