Opened in 1989, the Museum of Aeronautical Sciences is an aviation museum located at the southern end of the Narita International Airport runway.
The museum features both indoor and outdoor exhibits – including a number of light aircraft, helicopters and the nose of a Boeing 747.
The observation area offers a relatively close-up view of the planes taking off and landing at the nearby international airport.
