A small little cafe beneath the owner’s photography gallery, the deli lunch plates here are as stunning as they are delicious. Including homemade treats, fresh bread, pickles and seasonal variations, they are a steal at only 1,150yen. Just down the sidestreet opposite the Yanessen Tourist Information Center it’s easy to spot and very friendly. On our visit the chef went out of his way to make the Deli plate vegetarian – offering to make hummus for us (an offer no one should turn down!). They also have a regular menu including curry with couscous and tacorice, all presented beautifully.
