This is Japan’s biggest plant-based festival.
What happens?
Tokyo, and Japan, have been known as not having the best restaurants and food options for vegans and vegetarians. But times are changing and events like the Vegan Gourmet Festival are making it easier to eat meat-free.
Food stalls will not use any animal products, including fish, egg, meat, dairy products, or honey, and will have labels displaying all ingredients used (though English translations are not guaranteed).
Schedule
This event is held five times a year across Nagoya, Tokyo, and Kyoto. In Tokyo, it is held both in spring and autumn.
Organizers may cancel events, alter schedules, or change admission requirements without notice. Always check official sites before heading to an event.Add to Calendar
