Kayabacho – or more correctly Nihonbashi-Kayabacho is a district of Chuo Ward in central Tokyo. As the name suggests, it’s right next to Nihonbashi. Kayabacho Station is a transfer station for the Tokyo Metro Hibiya and Tozai Lines.
The district is predominantly commercial with a large number of tall office towers housing the head offices of banks, securities and investment companies. Because of the concentration of offices and good access to transport, there are also a large number of business hotels in the area – both cheap and not so cheap.
