A shrine located on the top of Atagoyma (just a hill) between Kamiyacho and Shinbashi. While not remarkable for its size, it does have a beautiful little pond filled with koi carp.
There is also a perilously steep set of steps leading to the shrine. Those who climb the steps to the shrine are believed to be blessed with success. If you suffer from vertigo or don’t trust yourself to cartwheel down the stairs to your certain death, there are much less perilous routes to the top—including a lift at the east end of the Atagoyama Tunnel.
Since you’ve made the effort to climb the “mountain”, you could also check out the NHK Broadcast Museum, which is on the same ridge.
