Chofu is a city in the western suburbs of Tokyo outside the core 23 wards.
It’s the home of Ajinomoto Stadium which is where football team Tokyo FC plays their home games in the J League. It’s also the main base for JAXA – the Japanese version of NASA.
Chofu Station is on the Keio Main Line which connects it to Shinjuku. It’s also the northern terminus of the Keio Sagamihara Line which connects it to Hashimoto Station in Sagamihara City, Kanagawa.
