Thrifting, vintage and secondhand shopping, hipster hangouts, live music, cheap restaurants - a calm bohemian neighbourhood in the heart of Tokyo.
Takeshita Dori is a narrow pedestrian only shopping street (or shotengai 商店街) just across from Harajuku station and is a popular area amongst the younger crowd, well more specifically the teenage girls :). It’s been known as an epicenter of fads, fashion and Crepes since as far back as the 70’s.
