The MOMAT is free this Sunday. The museum houses mainly Japanese works of the 20th century including a number deemed ‘Important Cultural Properties’ or masterpieces.

This Girls’ Day festival honors the good health of girls by sending dolls down the Sumida River by boat, which in turn carries away any bad luck. Starts at 11:30 am.

Setagaya Plum Blossom Festival
This festival takes place at Hanegi Park, which has around 650 plum blossom trees. On weekends (Feb 29-Mar 1 being the last one) the park hosts vendors selling plum-themed food and puts on some family-friendly entertainment.

A popular monthly flea market (next to the UNU Farmer’s Market) where you can pick up vintage clothing, vinyl, craft coffee and more.
